imageIn the past few hours, Douwe Pieter van den Bos released the second issue of OTech Magazine to the world. This magazine contains 17 articles from expert authors around the [Oracle] world, covering a wide range of topics. The table of contents includes articles, BPM and Case Management, WebCenter, Access Manager, ASM, ODI, WebLogic JMS, Database 12c, Oracle Business Intelligence & Essbase and various aspects of Fusion Middleware. On a somewhat more conceptual level, [the maturity of] Service Oriented Architecture is discussed, the relevance of NoSQL in the world of Oracle is analyzed, the major technology transitions taking place at Oracle Corporation are highlighted and the process tool selection for application development is reviewed.

The magazine is highly readable and contains a wealth [136 pages] of content from very experienced authors. It is a valuable collection of non-commercial articles that on the whole can be quickly applied in your daily practice. Highly recommended. Oh, and it is free.
