Interesting data-modeling presentations

Frank S.

In search about more information about the Zachmann framework, I stumbled onto a number of interesting Data Modeling and Architecture related presentations.

My personal reading recommendations:

  • “Semantic Modeling” by Dave McComb.
His presentation let me to the workfield of ontology and the power of categories.
  • “Data Modeling a Retrospective” by David F. Jones. A historical overview about datamodeling from 1950’s to 2002.
  • The presentations can be found here. Please respect the mentioned copyright notice.
