We need to learn an awful lot for productively developing good looking, robust ADF applications. And the best lessons learned are learned by experience. However, it does not necessarily need to be your own experience! We – the team and I – would like to invite you to learn from our experience, during the my final presentation – last slot of the conference if you believe it – at OOW. We will discuss several typical challenges and solutions in ADF development projects.

Here is the team:

They are:

  • The Excel User: James
  • The Interaction Designer: Wolfgang
  • The Security Officer: Susan
  • The Assertive End User: Mark
  • The Oracle Developer: Tom

The presentation will tell their stories about how everything should be Excel in the end, how the most fantastic visual design must be brought to life, how security is all pervasive in many applications, how the end user 2.0 wants control over the appearance and workings of the application and how experience ‘classic Oracle developers’ try to make transition to ADF technology.

You should be able to take away a lot of (our) lessons learned from this presentation! (Note: the slides will be available from this weblog after OOW).

Enriching and forwarding with the Oracle Enterprise Service Bus - tutorial in AMIS SOA Series

Many integration patterns involve messages being received, transformed, enriched and sent onwards. The Oracle Enterprise Service Bus supports most of these patterns and operations, but not all of them in a very straightforward manner.
