I came across an interesting site: del.icio.us . It describes itself as “a social bookmarks manager. It allows you to easily add sites you like to your personal collection of links, to categorize those sites with keywords, and to share your collection not only between your own browsers and machines, but also with others. ” By the way, the reason I came across it was that it contains a reference to one of our posts. I suspect that we will encounter delicious more and more often as a referrer.

It allows you to save hyperlinks that you find of interest, categorize them by using “tags” (keywords) and share those hyperlinks with others – as well as find out whom else has an interest in that hyperlink. It quickly seems to bring together publications on the internet on specific topics. (and it probably triggers Google as well…)

A few interesting links picked up from Delicious:
Free technology Books, Java Open Source Project directory
