OOW 2012: The yearly AMIS Review from Oracle Open World and JavaOne – slides available

Yesterday (16th October), 10 days of the end of the yearly Oracle show in San Francisco, AMIS organized its ‘Review from Oracle Open World 2012′ session with an overview of news, trends, announcements, special finds and interesting rumors . This session was ‘sold out’ (even though it was free). For close to 4 hours, the AMIS crew at OOW enlightened the audience about their main conclusions and greatest inspirational moments from the conference. Our slides from the seven presentations that together made up this interesting evening are now available on SlideShare to further digest.

The AMIS team reports from Oracle Open World – big and small announcements, guidance and tips

Last night, the AMIS crew that visited the Oracle Open World conference reported their findings in a 3.5 hour session. In segments on SOA & BPM, Middleware, Database, Oracle Applications (AIA) and Development technology, we presented the highlights from close to 1900 sessions – no small feat. And utterly incomplete of course. However, all in all, for people who did not attend the "red party" the evening gave a very useful overview of what Oracle is doing and where it is heading.
