Hi Shawn,

So far I haven't had any plans for a Trinidad plugin for NetBeans. Geertjan has created a NetBeans plugin for RichFaces and I have been doing some work on it. Perhaps a similar plugin could be setup for Trinidad? However, I feel a general plugin that allows development with any JSF library would be more appropriate. Not sure if this is possible though...

Looks like I may have referred to the author of this post incorrectly as Simon. My apologies!

Any progress on a Trinidad plugin for NetBeans, Wouter? Still on my list to start looking into. Not sure I couldn't tackle it alone, but worth a try nonetheless...

Hi Simon,

How is your investigation of support for Trinidad in particular in NetBeans? There is a RichFaces plugin/package for NetBeans now, and I think a similar Trinidad plugin would make it so much easier for people to start adopting Trinidad. I'd even be interested in helping out in this endeavor! Feel free to contact me - I come from Oracle originally where I worked on the data visualization components (gauge in particular), and was really pleased to see them exposed as part of the rich client ADF release.

All the best,
Shawn
