I was not aware of this new functionality of FNDCPASS, obviousely spooling and executing the result of the following will do the trick as well.
” select ‘FNDCPASS apps/apps 0 Y system/manager ORACLE ‘||oracle_username||’ score;’ from fnd_oracle_userid where read_only_flag = ‘A’ ”

Futhermore you mention the apps password must be changed manually in some config files after changing teh APPS-pw. No need; just run autoconfig which takes care of this.
