Probably will be 11g, remember 8.2 was changed to 9i after the final beta when Marketing won over development on the name.

@Dimitri: He, Dimitri how’s belgium doing (we nearly won from Luxemburg: 1-0). Automatic, yeah, lots of them. And it will be 11g (universal has already been used by a competitor in the market years ago – informix).

I wonder if there’re some more “automatic” features in 11g… and will the “g” remain?
I thought about 11u – as U for Universe

The XML DB team has done a lot of good work and is 2 pages (A4) ahead regarding “new features” comparing it with (PL/)SQL.

Nice! There’s no way I could come up with the time right now but it sounds like you’re going to have a lot of fun.

I’d be happy just beta testing the 11g documentation.
